GENERAL


The Alexander Turnbull Library developed and maintained a comprehensive collection of documentary heritage material relating to New Zealand and its people, holding both published and unpublished collections. Published collections of the Alexander Turnbull Library included books, magazines and journals, pamphlets, newspapers, maps, music, websites, and other published items. The unpublished collections included original manuscripts, oral histories, photographs, paintings, drawings, prints, and cartoons.
