These Family Proceedings files (formerly Domestic Proceedings) involve family, relationship and domestic proceedings in the Buller region. From 1981 the Family Court was designated as a division of the District Court in Westport, but as a distinct court with its own sphere of jurisdiction operating alongside the latter and equal in status.
